This is the result of a project i've been working on all semester. It takes a landscape (That lovely thing was done by my partner in photoshop in about a minute), starts a fire in a location or two, and then spreads it for a certain amount of time. The light green is grass, the dark green is trees, blue is water and black is a road.

The tool was so limited we couldn't use an actual landscape, which is sad. Still, it's pretty cool. The darker areas have just lit on fire, while the lightest area is where the fire started.

On the left is one of our first attempts at just getting grass to burn faster than trees. It sucks that the grass is burning in squares, but the burning on the trees is pretty cool looking. On the right is the nearly-finished product, where we tried to put in wind and fuel. It should be burning more towards the lower right hand corner.

I don't know why the colors are messed up. I had to export the images from a combination of shape files, rasters and tifs to jpeg, so it came out a little wonky.
